. Available book explains the basic principles of the Eter-contract claim, and also contains samples of contracts for private and corporate clients, adapted for Russian businessmen. The book is checked by Rav Ben Tzion Zilber.

One of the fundamental laws of the Torah commands the Jew to give money to the debt (if they need them, and asks for it) without charging interest. Accordingly, a Jew who makes a loan to another Jew at interest, as a rule, violates the prohibition of the Torah. This prohibition applies to all persons involved in the issuance of the loan (loan, credit) to the owner of capital, loan recipient, the guarantors of the transaction and all the others who help in getting a loan.

In many Jewish sources severely censured by people who violate the ban ribitol (lending money at interest). For example, the Talmud (Bava Metzia 71a), they are equal to those who deny the connection of the Jewish people by the Almighty and the fact that the Jews out of Egypt. Ibid (Bava Metzia 71a, 75a) states that one who gives money at interest, loses more than gains, and ultimately irreversibly lose their property. The Midrash (Shemot Rabbah 31:13) says that those who violate the ban ribitol - as if violates all prohibitions mentioned in the Torah.

In order to protect Jewish businessmen from all kinds of violations of the ban ribitol, which is more than ever relevant in recent years, with the rapid development of the credit and financial system, and at the same time does not interfere with the efficient conduct of business, the sages have offered to enter into so-called Eter-claim, ie agreement on joint ventures. Eter-action allows to give credit and at the same time make a profit on the part of the money.

Eter-contract lawsuit radically changes the relationship between the owner of capital and the recipient of the loan, making them partners in the joint business.
