Commandments - pivots Jewish life, the fulfillment of which, in fact, forms the image of a Jewish believer's life. Therefore, it is important to define what constitutes the commandments. The chain of oral tradition we passed on their knowledge of the number, but neither in the Bible nor in the Mishnah or Talmud is a list of them. Our time was reached only a few versions of this list, but all of them surpassed the popularity and broad dissemination of "Book of Commandments" Rambam. In it, he describes how the principles that they based Inventory and language themselves Commandments. Written by Maimonides as a separate essay, "The Book of Commandments", in essence, is an introduction to his landmark Code "Mishneh Torah," and so is the beginning of all his books.
