The history in a basis of this children's book brought from Midrash Bereshit the Slave (39:1) and book Zoar (1,86). The minor alterations coordinated with experts of a Torah. In book Zoar it is written, that Avraham in the beginning considered, that the world is created by the moon and the sun, stars was not mentioned in general. The story about a palace and its builder from Midrash is only an allegory evidently illustrates how Avraham has opened for itself presence of the Creator at this world.
