Documentary novel in Russian.
Famous Russian writer, author of 13 novels and short stories that have been translated into Hebrew and other languages and printed in many countries, continues with his series, 'ARC FROM THE 20th CENTURY.' This time, he writes about real occurrences in the science research laboratories of Moscow University, in the wards of special scientific research institute-hospital, in U.S. Senate in 1960—1970's. The novel tells the true story of the heroine Lubov Ryabov, her teachers, students, friends and acquaintances — and how they found themselves in the circumstance of being forced prey to the Soviet's state's «scientific» experimentation on its unwitting citizens. More than 30 years separated these experiments from tragedy of the Moscow Theatral Center on Doubrovka. What connection does the author find between them?
