Code of Maimonides. Mishneh Torah. Book of Love

Another annotated Russian translation of the Mishnah Torah, published under the "Library of Jewish texts." Earlier books were published in Mada ("Knowledge") and Shoftim ("Judges") - the first and last volume of the Code of Maimonides chetyrnadtsatitomnogo. Book Aƒava ("Love") - the second book of the Code, immediately following the book Mada. The book "Love" is much closer than the previous volume, related to issues of everyday ƒalahi and relevant to all the laws and customs - such as laws about reading Shema, the prayer of the Laws, the Laws of the blessings. Other sections, such as the laws of tefillin, mezuzah, and the scroll of the Torah, Laws of hands-tzitzit and laws of circumcision, are devoted to topics not everyday, but extremely important for the practical implementation of the law. Therefore, in many cases, we found it necessary to give orders Shulchan Aruch and p. Moshe Isserles and the solutions later codifiers - ha-Shulchan Aroha, the Mishnah brura and some others. The absence of references to recent works ƒalahicheskie in our comments does not mean that the adopted today ƒalaha or custom match the resolution of the Rambam. In other words, this edition is not only not meant to be a source of practical ƒalahi, but in no way intended for such use. In the book "Love" also includes a Siddur (prayer arch) Rambam, with commentary.
